Birds on Our Heads and The Dr. Zoolittle Show

We walked through Balboa Park today before dropping Kaleb off at Science Camp today.  There was a bird organization that was raising awareness and money for these little guys.  The kids got a chance to hold and have the birds climb on them.  The kids loved getting hands on experience with them and even asked us to donate money.  

Then we watched a group of three guys do a break dancing street performance.  The girls were entranced.  

After dropping off Kaleb at science camp we headed over to the zoo.  It was an extremely hot day and we wanted to avoid walking around too much.  We first got some pink lemon aid frozen treats to enjoy.  Then we headed to the kid zoo area to play.  The playground equipment was to hot to play on so the kids found a shaded area and played restaurant.  Then we watched the Dr. Zoolittle show, visited the sea otter and red pandas and just kept cool.  It was very fun to play with our friends Paloma and Sophia at the zoo.
