Today we spent the day at the zoo. It was HOT and fun!
We saw the condors, elephants, cheetahs and had a really close encounter with an orangutan. Those animals are so fascinating, they are so human like. They are affectionate, playful and so silly. The kids loved how interactive they were. And even went face to face with one of the smaller orangutans. Then we listened to a cover band play Beach Boys music and the kids entered a hula hoop contest. Kaleb amazed me with his skills. He even went for a double hula hoop. We danced together and had a fantastic day.
