Seaside Lagoon

After leaving the Chang's we headed towards Redondo Beach for an afternoon of some water fun at Seaside Lagoon.  The kids were a bit disappointed that the water was cold.  Somehow I still don't think they understand that it's ocean water dropping into the lagoon.  Despite the cold water and overcast temperature we had fun.  We played in the sand, built sand castles, and shallow pools, played ball, splashed around the water, while Nathaniel napped and JJ kept an eye on him and read a book.  Right before we left JJ splashed into the water going down the water slide which he challenged Kaleb to do as well.  Kaleb refused as the water was really cold.  But after we packed up and Seaside closed Kaleb really wished he'd gone down the slide. Next time buddy.  Nathaniel was an angel he woke up as we were carrying him out the gates of Seaside Lagoon.  It was the perfect way to end our trip to Los Angeles.
